that-heros-gone asked: do you have any fandom tattoos?
I actually don’t have any tattoos. They are a kind of art I really enjoy looking at but don’t particularly want for myself.

No, I actually don’t know how ‘fandom’ this tattoo is, but like all my other tattoos, it’s mainly inspired by one of my fandoms that I just interpret in a different way.
This is ‘The Prince of Any Failing Empire’, part of what will eventually be my Fall Out Boy themed sleeve. It’s a reference to their song G.I.N.A.S.F.S.
However, I had to pile even more references on that reference, and had to think of who the prince was to me exactly, so I intended to go for Louis XVII, the prince I used to be obsessed over as a child history-buff, but somehow, I ended up using a picture of Bjorn Andresen as reference. So this tattoo could go anywhere from being a fob-fandom tatt to a death in venice-fandom tatt, I suppose.

This tattoo helps me remember to be true to myself, while honoring my love for the Harry Potter series.
Sburb logo, from the homestuck fandom I had done last october :)
Harry Potter tattoo. Hedwig and Gryffindor Crest.
This is my Doctor Who tattoo. I got it because for one thing, I absolutely love Doctor Who. But also, I love the way in which Rose tells that she is the Bad Wolf. She says: “I create myself.” And I feel like that is so appropriate for me. It’s in typewriter lettering because I love to read and books have had a profound effect on my life. This tattoo is a perfect union of my love for Doctor Who, its influence on me, my love for books, and my personality. This is just the first of many “fandom” tattoos I plan on getting. =]
